<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle communication device which allows communication with a diagnosing device according to priority without executing priority-based communication on an ECU side, and also provide a communication system for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A proxy server corresponding to an on-vehicle communication device is arranged between an ECU and diagnosing devices (a high priority tool and a low priority tool) in the outside of a vehicle so as to relay data communication. When receiving requests to the ECU respectively sent from the high priority tool and low priority tool, the proxy server determines the priority to respective requests. The high priority request transmitted from the high priority tool is transmitted to the ECU (S16→S17 or S19→S18). On the other hand, the low priority request transmitted from the low priority tool assumes that as a transmission condition, a process regarding the request from the high priority tool and the response to the high priority tool is completed and delays the timing of transmission until the transmission condition is satisfied (S17→S18 or S16→S19→S18). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
