<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular power unit which is capable of efficiently supplying power to a large power load and effectively utilizing regenerative electric power also for other loads. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicular power unit 11 comprises a first DC/DC converter 13, a first power storage section 15, a second power storage section 17, a second DC/DC converter 19, a first power storage section voltage detection circuit 21, a total power storage section voltage detection circuit 23, and a control section 25. While a large power load 29 is not driven, the control section 25 controls the first DC/DC converter 13 and the second DC/DC converter 19 within such a range that a total power storage section voltage Vc becomes equal to or higher than a large power load drive lower limit voltage Vsc, and in such a manner that at least the first power storage section 15 charges/discharges regenerative power of a vehicle. When driving the large power load 29, the control section 25 supplies power in the first power storage section 15 and the second power storage section 17 to the large power load 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
