<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress manufacturing costs of a microcomputer and to simplify switch changeover control in a portable electric apparatus in which the microcomputer performs temperature detection in two separated housings for secondary battery storage at a battery pack side. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus body 3 comprises a microcomputer 10, an analog switch IC 14 which changes over and outputs voltages inputted from thermistor terminals 22 and 23 in housings 4 and 5, and one input port 10a including an A/D conversion function for inputting a voltage from the analog switch IC 14. The microcomputer 10 changes over the analog switch IC 14 in accordance with high and low control signals in a predetermined cycle, detects temperatures in the housings 4 and 5 and performs temperature monitoring processing. Thus, the one input port 10a is sufficient for A/D conversion and only high and low levels are sufficient for the control signals. Therefore, manufacturing costs of the microcomputers can be suppressed and switch changeover control can be simplified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
