PURPOSE: A housing type vehicle key is provided to make a key come in and out from a key hole of a key body when a user and a driver pushes a button comprised in the key body, thereby making the key come in and out from the key hole even in a narrow space. CONSTITUTION: A housing type vehicle key comprises a key body(100), a stopper(200), a button(300), a key(400), and a spring(500). A rail groove(120) is formed in the upper part of the key body. A stopper joining groove(190) and a button joining hole are formed in the upper part of the rail groove. A hinge pin hole(210) is formed in the stopper. The hinge pin hole is joined to a pin joining hole(130) of the key body to be rotated around a hinge pin(150). A hanging protrusion(230) is formed in one end portion of the stopper. An elastic spring(180) is installed in between the upper part of the hanging protrusion and the stopper joining groove. The lower part of the button is joined to a button joining unit(260) of the stopper and the upper part of the button is protruded to the upper part of the button joining hole of the key body. One end portion of the key is fitted into the rail groove, thereby being moved in and out from a key hole(110) of the key body. A hanging projection(450) is formed in the other end portion of the key.
