ACOUSTIC PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PARAMETER SETTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the variation of frequency characteristics of listening sound generated when the influence on tone quality of indirect sound is adjusted.

SOLUTION: A speaker device 1 includes a correction processing unit 102 which subjects an input audio signal to correction processing and outputs a resultant signal. The correction processing includes indirect sound adjustment processing of adjusting the influence of indirect sound listened at a sound reception point, and frequency characteristic adjustment processing of adjusting frequency characteristics of the audio signal. Frequency characteristics in the frequency characteristic adjustment processing are so determined that frequency characteristics of impulse response at the sound reception point in the case of the audio signal subjected to the correction processing are closer to those in the case of the audio signal not subjected to the correction processing than those in the case of the audio signal not subjected to the frequency characteristic adjustment processing.
