<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make appropriate digest reproduction possible. <P>SOLUTION: Following steps are included: an event storage step of storing in memory events occurring at running time along with priority information indicating the priority of each event; a video data acquisition step of acquiring video data; a feature section specification step of specifying a feature section corresponding to events from the video data; and a reproduction section extraction step of extracting a reproduction section from the video data on the basis of the feature section. In the reproduction section extraction step, when a specific section consisting of an aggregate sum of two or more feature sections at least partly overlapping one another exists in the video data, a reproduction section regarding the feature sections in that specific section is extracted based only on a representative feature section, or the one corresponding to an event with highest priority. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
