<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a fuel assembly that can suppress the generation of residual stress at a control rod guide thimble and has a high straightness with little torsion and inclination. <P>SOLUTION: An assembly jig of a fuel assembly comprises: a holding rod having a flange part at the lower end side thereof; an inner tube formed in a cylindrical shape as insertable in a control rod guide thimble and externally fitted on the holding rod; rotation regulating means that regulates the rotation of the inner tube; elevating means that is formed at the upper end side of the inner tube and moves the holding rod in vertical directions relatively with respect to the inner tube; a holding rubber that is externally fitted on a part of the holding rod located higher than the flange part; an outer tube that has an engaging part for engaging an internal screw at the lower end side thereof and externally fitted on the inner tube; and fastening means that is formed at the upper end side of the outer tube and fastens the internal screw by operating the engaging part.
