摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control damper capable of providing a suppression effect of shaking obtained by controlling vibration characteristics of a structure and a vibration control effect by energy absorption at the same time against various vibrations caused at the structure, with a simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: A displacement dependent damper 10 includes a shaft member 11 which is connected to members, facing each other, of a bridge of a structure at which relative displacement occurs at end parts 11a and 11b under vibration and in which a surrender portion 15 which surrenders in an earthquake is formed, and a buckling restriction member 12 which is added to the surface of a shaft member so as to restrict deformation of the shaft member 11 toward the outside of surface, with one end 12a connected to the shaft member 11 while the other end 12b being a free end. A rotational inertia mass damper 20 is provided parallel to it in which a relative displacement that occurs between the shaft member 11 and the free end 12a of the buckling restriction member 12 is converted to a rotational motion of a disc 23, and a restoring force to the relative displacement is generated by the inertia force caused by the rotational inertia mass of the disc 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
