<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag-producing, filling and packaging machine of a vertical type which is capable of detecting an end of a web in a guide roller rotation direction and carrying out a process of tying papers and matching surface patterns on the front side of packaging papers. <P>SOLUTION: The filling and packaging machine of vertical type includes a one-way stopper rotatable only in the direction opposite to the direction of packaging material transfer. When the end of a packaging material is detected, a guide roller is immobilized by the one-way stopper to suspend paper feeding, and the next roll of the packaging material is set up. Thereafter, the end part of the preceding packaging material kept immobilized on the roller is pulled out over the next roll of the packaging material to tie the papers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
