<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray nozzle capable of switching high-volume spray and low-volume spray in spite of a nozzle exclusively used as the air mixing type. <P>SOLUTION: The spray nozzle 1 includes a first orifice plate 12 disposed at an advance/retreat holder 6 of a downstream body 3; an air lead-in passage 20 formed downstream of the first orifice plate 12; and an operating cylinder body 9 turnably mounted to an upstream body 4. The advance/retreat holder 6 is advanced/retreated to allow communication between a passage 22 of the upstream body 4 and a first center orifice hole 13, while peripheral orifice holes 14 are closed, or the center orifice hole 13 and the peripheral orifice holes 14 communicate with the passage 22. A second orifice plate 10 with a second center orifice hole 11 is disposed in a passage 24 of the advance/retreat holder 6, and a communicating space 28 serving for communication between the air lead-in passage 20 and the outside of the nozzle in either case of the first orifice plate 12 coming in close contact with or separating from a tip surface 4D of the upstream body 4 is provided between the advance/retreat holder 6 and the operating cylinder body 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
