<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roaster which gets far-infrared rays emitted and prevents smoke caused by burning of oil dripping down or scattering off from food from being generated. <P>SOLUTION: The roaster 1 includes a lamp heater assembly 21 including rod-shaped carbon lamp heaters 23 and nontransparent covers 31 for surrounding the outer periphery of each of the heaters 23 to turn red-hot on receiving heat from each of the rod-shaped lamp heaters 23. Since each of the nontransparent covers 31 is laid around the entire surface of each of rod-shaped lamp heaters 23, the heat emitted from each of the rod-shaped lamp heaters 23 is trapped in the space between each of the heaters 23 and each of the nontransparent covers 31, which makes each of the nontransparent covers 31 so hot that it can become red-hot. Consequently, each of the nontransparent covers 31 emit infrared rays or far-infrared rays to cook food put in the roaster. Each of the nontransparent covers 31 also works to prevent oil content of the food from sticking to the heaters 23 or from producing smoke when dropping on or hitting each of the nontransparent covers 31 thanks to the greaseproof property. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
