<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink system that is effective for reducing the problem of ghost occurrence in a digital offset ink system. <P>SOLUTION: The ink system includes an ink chamber 307 for depositing an ink on an ink member 305, including ink. The deposited extra ink is removed from the surface of ink member 305. Alternatively, a fountain solution is removed by applying a doctor blade 315 and air knife 326 to the surface of ink member 305.
