<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring device which acquires operation information in accordance with the power supply states of devices in a large-scale environment and monitors the devices with a reduced processing load, in a monitoring form of acquiring operation information through polling from the remote monitoring device. <P>SOLUTION: The scheduled power-off time of each device is acquired and a regular acquisition time is determined on the basis of the scheduled power-off time. Furthermore, from a fixed time before the scheduled power-off time of each device, a shorter re-acquisition interval is set for a device from which operation information has not been acquired for a threshold period, thereby achieving effective re-acquisition before powering off of the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
