<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a wood chip manufactured by crushing wood materials such as woodland surplus materials, thinned woods, branches and lumber remainders in addition to wood pellets, to effectively supply combustion air even if lump fuel is stacked, and to replace a fire grate device according to a shape of the lump fuel in a solid fuel combustion device using a force of gravity or a gravity fall for supplying the lump fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The solid fuel combustion device includes a combustion furnace 1, a fuel supplying device 2 for supplying the lump fuel by a force of gravity to a combustion chamber 11 of a combustion furnace 1, and a fire grate device 3 provided in the combustion chamber 11 of the combustion furnace 1. The fuel supplying device 2 includes a reservoir 20 and a stoppage door 210 for sealing a fuel delivery port of the reservoir 20. The fire grate device 3 is erected in a fuel support floor 30, and has an air supply tube 5 in which an appropriate number of air supply holes are formed at a cylinder wall. The fire grate device 3 can be carried in and out to and from the combustion furnace 1, and a tilted floor 32 or a horizontal floor is alternatively used as the fuel support floor 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
