<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage of a thrust roller bearing that reduces stirring resistance by allowing smooth flow of lubricating oil. <P>SOLUTION: This cage of a thrust roller bearing includes concave parts 21 and convex parts 22 which formed in the radial direction and alternately in the circumferential direction. A roller guide hole 27 which constitutes a pocket for a roller 11 is formed at the bottom section 25 of the concave part 21 with an inner diameter side connection part 28 and an outer diameter side connection part 29 formed at both ends of the inner and outer diameters thereof, respectively. Opposite sidewall parts 24 of the concave part 21 which rise, at a lower height than the diameter of the roller 11, from both ends of the bottom part 25 in the circumferential direction, are formed along both side parts of the roller 11 and formed in a tapered shape at a distance which is narrow on the bottom part 25 side and wider than the diameter of the roller 11 on the top part 26 side of the convex part 22. Roller retaining claws 31 for preventing removal of the roller 11 are formed in the opening of the opposite sidewall parts 24 of the concave part 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
