PURPOSE: A food waste disposal device is provided to be installed regardless of the height of a sink by minimizing the height of a crushing unit. CONSTITUTION: A food waste disposal device comprises a crushing unit and a filtering unit. The crushing unit is installed in a drain of a sink and crushes food waste. The crushing unit comprises a housing body(210), a primary crushing unit, a secondary crushing unit, and a drive motor(240). The primary crushing unit is connected to the bottom of the housing body and crushes food waste. The secondary crushing unit is installed on the bottom of the primary crushing unit and re-crushes the first crushed food waste. The drive motor is installed in the bottom of the secondary crushing unit and simultaneously powers primary and secondary crushing blades(224,234) installed inside the primary and secondary crushing units. The filtering unit filters and discharges the crushed food waste.
