Long interfering dsRNA with abilities to trigger RNA interference and immunostimulation simultaneously

PURPOSE: A long interfering dsRNA is provided to suppress sequence-specific target gene expression and to promote structure-dependent immune response. CONSTITUTION: A long interfering dsRNA(liRNA) has an antisense strand and a sense strand, each with 19-59nt. The antisense strand and sense strand have 13-50 bp of complementary double helix strand. The sense strand and antisense strand has at least 70% or more complementary sequences with mRNA of a target gene. The liRNA has a nick every 13-50 pb and target a gene relating to cancer. The gene includes survivin or beta-catenin. A composition for suppressing gene expression or promoting immune response contains the IiRNA.
