<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device that can estimate the electric resistance of an electric motor with excellent accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power steering device calculates the rotational speed of an electric motor 20 based on the estimated value of the electric resistance of the electric motor 20.
