<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode plate repairing apparatus which repairs the defect of an electrode plate, and to provide a battery including an electrode plate repaired by that apparatus and a manufacturing method of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode plate repairing apparatus has an unwinding unit, a winding unit, an imaging unit, a repairing liquid supply unit, a drying furnace, and a control unit. The imaging unit detects the position and range of defects W1, W2, i.e. poor coating of an electrode plate. The repairing liquid supply unit supplies repairing liquid to the defects W1, W2 thus detected. The drying furnace dries the repairing liquid supplied to the defects W1, W2.
