<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively adjust temperature of a temperature-modifying fluid (e.g., an oil) in electrical systems or devices (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers, etc.). <P>SOLUTION: A system 2 includes: a heat transfer element 8 configured to thermally couple to an insulating fluid within an electrical device 20; an ambient temperature sensor 4; and a control system 6 coupled to the heat transfer element 8 and the ambient temperature sensor 4.
