<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system etc. capable of suppressing a communication load by making efficient the operation of updating adjacent information of a terminal constituting a system. <P>SOLUTION: A management terminal 1 includes relay function information indicative of presence or absence of a relay function in communication terminals 2-8. When acquiring adjacent information, the management terminal 1 refers to the relay function information, and transmits an adjacent information request to request adjacent information indicative of a communication terminal adjacent to the communication terminal, in preference to the communication terminals 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 having relay function.
