<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light transmission module in a small size while eliminating external elements. <P>SOLUTION: A light transmission module 100 comprises: a flat-shaped stem portion 101; and a submount portion 107 in a shape that stands from a surface of the stem portion 101. On a side surface of the submount portion 107, a substrate having a terminator resistance circuit is provided.
