<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation or damage of containers closely contacted while maintaining a predetermined amount of the contact level of the containers to be supplied to a container processing machine on an inlet conveyer in a container supply device for supplying the containers to the container processing machine through the inlet conveyer from an upstream transport conveyer. <P>SOLUTION: By the container supply device the containers B are supplied from the upstream transport conveyer 7 to the container processing machine 5 through the inlet conveyer 6. A container sensor 9 is provided for detecting the contact level among the containers B being supplied to the container processing machine 5 on the inlet conveyer 6.
