<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, program, and storage medium, which make it easy to restrain inconvenience caused by insufficient drying of ink when an image is formed on a long medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a printing unit, a parameter calculating section, and an interruption control section. The printing unit performs print on a medium by an ink jet recording system. The parameter calculating section calculates a parameter based on the amount of ink ejected for printing that has been carried out by the printing unit since the time that is a predetermined time before the predetermined timing (step S26), at the predetermined timing.
