<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that prevents unnecessary consumption of ink considering the ejecting state of a nozzle in a following recording area. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device which performs recording on a recording medium in predetermined recording area units by ejecting the ink from the nozzle of a recording head obtains recording data to be recorded in a first recording area, and specifies the nozzle to be used in recording of the recording data out of all the nozzles of the recording head. The inkjet recording device generates preliminary ejection data for performing preliminary ejection concerning the specified nozzle, and performs the preliminary ejection to a second recording area in which recording is performed previous to the first recording area on the basis of the generated preliminary ejection data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
