<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a large light guide plate free from generation of a weld or residual strain. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate 2 comprises: an incidence end face part 3 for guiding light of a light source; a counter-incidence end face part 4 facing the incidence end face part 3; a side face part 5 connected to the incidence end face part 3 and the counter-incidence end face part; and a front surface part 6 and a back surface part 7 orthogonal to each of the incidence end face part 3, the counter-incidence end face part 4 and the side face part 5. The incidence end face part 3 and the counter-incidence end face part 4 are made longer than the side face part 5. A position of a sub gate 9 provided on the side face part 5 is provided near the incidence end face part 3 such that the ratio of a distance from the incidence end face part 3 and a distance from the counter-incidence end face part 4 is 1:4 to 2:3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
