FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: piston engine cylinder 1 comprises lubricant receivers 5. Cylinder comprises also a slide surface 7 for piston 2. Note here that said surface has top dead zone 8 and several scavenge grooves 6. Said surface 7 has multiple slit-like cutouts 5. Said slit-like cutouts have length 9, width 10 and depth 11. Depth 11 exceeds 0.4 mm. Slit-like cutouts are made under cylinder ring-like section 12 and has length making up to 15% of length 13 of slide surface 7 in reading from top dead zone 8. Invention covers also methods of making said receivers and use of cylinder as that of large-size diesel engine.EFFECT: uniform distribution of lubricant over entire length of cylinder.14 cl, 5 dwg |
