<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten salt battery in which the possibility that a separator fractures is eliminated while minimizing decrease in energy density and energy efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: Surface roughness Ra of a positive electrode current collector consisting of an aluminum foil, a 3DF(porous sheet) and a porous body of aluminum is set, respectively, to 5-20 μm, 15-25 μm and 20-30 μm. When combining a positive electrode including the positive electrode current collector and a separator consisting of a nonwoven fabric of glass, thickness of the separator is set to 50, 60 and 80 μm or more. When combining a positive electrode and a separator consisting of a PTFE sheet, thickness of the separator is set to 20, 30 and 30 μm or more. Even when decrease in energy density and energy efficiency is minimized by making the separator thinner than 200 μm, for example, the separator pressed from the positive electrode and the negative electrode does not fracture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
