<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture colorless transparent and high-gloss toners. <P>SOLUTION: A colorless transparent toner is produced by mixing and homogenizing, with high shear, a first composition comprising a low molecular weight latex resin and a low melt wax, mixing and heating the first composition until a desired core particle size is achieved, contacting the first composition with a second composition having a higher Tg than that of the first composition, and forming a shell around the core particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
