<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing a temperature increase of an imaging part compared to a conventional apparatus, while maintaining the productivity of image formation on both sides of a sheet as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus exhausts heated air in an IU surrounding space 19 through a draft air duct 82 crossing a conveyance path 39 and a circulation path 58. When a sheet S conveyed in the circulation path 58 is conveyed to a pair of timing rollers 35, the sheet S is paused within the circulation path 58 in accordance with a timing of conveying the sheet S to the timing rollers 35, and when the conveyance is resumed thereafter, in a case where a temperature in the IU surrounding space 19 is lower than a predetermined value, the sheet S is paused so that a top end thereof comes to a position of a first position X1. On the other hand, in a case where the temperature is equal to or more than the predetermined value, in order not to block the air draft duct 82 by the paused sheet S, the sheet S is paused so that the top end thereof comes to a position of a second position X2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
