<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a heat treatment furnace excellent in carburization resistance that is suitable for a member for a heat treatment furnace used in a carburizing environment, especially suitable for a material of a radiant tube. <P>SOLUTION: The member for a heat treatment furnace is obtained by forming a Cr concentration layer and a Ni-Al alloy layer on the surface of a substrate comprising a Ni-base alloy. The Ni-base alloy constituting the substrate has composition containing 14.0-35.0 wt.% of Cr, 0.1-25.0 wt.% of Fe, not less than 0.1 wt.% and less than 1.5 wt.% of Al, 0.001-0.4 wt.% of Ti, 0.005-0.15 wt.% of C, 0.1-1.0 wt.% of Mn, and 0.1-1.0 wt.% of Si with the balance comprising Ni and unavoidable impurities. The Ni-Al alloy layer has a thickness of 10-200 μm and composition of 10-60 wt.% of Al with the balance comprising Ni and unavoidable impurities.
