<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable update of a language monitor while avoiding reboot of a spooler. <P>SOLUTION: An information device comprises request reception means for receiving a request for print data from a spooler through a prescribed function interface and at least one processing execution means for executing processing corresponding to the request.
