<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation pawl cleaning device that cleans a separation pawl without damaging a tip of the separation pawl, and prevents an abnormal image such as uneven toner density or filming. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 1 includes a separation pawl (separation pawl device 20) for separating a transfer material P from a rotating body 2. In the separation pawl cleaning device 201 provided in the image forming device 1 and including separation pawl cleaning means for cleaning the surface of the separation pawl by blowing air from the outside of the separation pawl and separation pawl separating means for separating the separation pawl from the rotating body. The separation pawl cleaning means and the separation pawl separating means are configured of the same means (for example, an air compressor 202, air switching valve 203, air piping 204, or air blowing nozzle 205), thereby reducing the size of the device and cleaning the separation pawl without wear, as well as preventing toner fusion or insertion of paper dust or developer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
