<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce displacement of the ground during construction while executing soil improvement in the ground near a quay wall or a revetment on a beach, at a river mouth or in a lake subject to a water level change due to the tide and thereby preventing a target structure such as the quay wall or the revetment from being adversely affected. <P>SOLUTION: When executing soil improvement of the ground near a quay wall or a revetment on a beach, at a river mouth or in a lake subject to a water level change due to a tide, a soil improvement method with reduced displacement executes construction: at a site away from the sea so as to prevent a target structure 1 such as the quay wall or the revetment from being adversely affected by an excess pore water pressure which occurs during the construction at low tide; and at the site close to the sea at high tide. Thus, the soil improvement method with the reduced displacement reduces displacement of the ground during the construction by changing the construction site in accordance with a water level change due to the tide and thereby preventing the target structure 1 such as the quay wall or the revetment from being adversely affected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
