<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which enables a sufficiently large article storage space to be secured below a seat cushion when the sheet cushion is brought into the state of enabling an occupant to sit thereon, and which can improve an appearance under the seat cushion and workability of loading/unloading of an article in the state of enabling the occupant to sit thereon. <P>SOLUTION: A seat back 12 is attached to a high floor 16, and the seat cushion 11 is turnably attached to the seat back 12. A supporting leg 22 is attached to the seat cushion 11 so as to be supported on a low floor 16 in the state of enabling the occupant to sit on the seat cushion. A space between a top surface of the high floor 16 and an undersurface of the seat cushion 11 serves as the article storage space S.
