<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent a decrease of determination performance for determining whether or not a predetermined object appears in an input image. <P>SOLUTION: A correction part uses correction information to correct a parameter of an ensemble classifier that includes multiple weak learners for outputting weak hypotheses that show whether or not a predetermined object appears in an input image by using a feature amount extracted from an input image as input. A determination processing part uses the ensemble classifier after correcting the parameter to integrate the weak hypotheses output by the weak learners, with respect to the feature amount, and determines whether or not the object appears in the input image, on the basis of the integrated value of the weak hypotheses. A correction information calculation part 54 calculates the correction information on the basis of a light source illuminating the object.
