METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF BARTONELLA HENSELAE ANTIGEN AND PREPARED BARTONELLA HENSELAE ANTIGEN PREPARED THEREBY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepared antigen of Bartonella henselae having high specific antigenicity and usable for detection and assay of Bartonella henselae and for production of a vaccine.

SOLUTION: Useful prepared Bartonella henselae antigen can be obtained from Bartonella henselae cell cultured in a serum medium by treating the cell by a specific process. An enzymatic immunoassay to use the prepared Bartonella henselae antigen can specifically determine CSD positive in high sensitivity in diagnosis to use a specimen (serum) from a patient. The prepared Bartonella henselae antigen can be used for production of a vaccine.
