PLEATED SHEET, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pleated sheet excelling in designability and a humidity-controlling property and suitably usable as an interior decorating material or a rug in a closet.

SOLUTION: This pleated sheet includes a lumber sheet 11 having flexibility and a reinforcing material stuck to one surface of the lumber sheet 11. The reinforcing material is formed of a plurality of parallel thermoplastic threads 3a or a thermoplastic sheet 3b, and in the lumber sheet 11, a plurality of pleats 2 extending along its lumber fiber direction are formed in parallel to one another. The lumber sheet 11 is organized by arranging a plurality of strip-like chips 11a in a direction orthogonal to the lumber fiber direction extending along in its longitudinal direction.
