[Class 3 (ii)] A road stud has a head made up of a circular part and a part with a square or other quadrilateral contour with one part superposed on the other which is provided with a plain upper surface. As shown, the stud comprises a shank 1 having a square head 2 with a raised circular part 3 which may be plain or provided with concentric grooves 5 or a spiral groove. Projections 7 may be provided on the underside of the head. In modifications, the head 2 may be rectangular or diamond shaped. In a further modification, the head is circular and has a raised square part.</p> |
