<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of easily assembling an insulator and a heater holder, and a manufacturing method of the gas sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A gas sensor 1 includes a sensor element 2; a housing 3 for supporting and fixing the sensor element 2; a heater 4 inserted in the sensor element 2; an insulator 5 in which a base end portion 41 of the heater is inserted and held, and which is made from insulation material; a metallic heater holder 6 for gripping the heater 4 to fix the heater 4 to the sensor element 2; a reference side signal line 71; and a measured side signal line 72. The gas sensor 1 and a manufacturing method of the gas sensor 1 are provided. A base end side of a body portion 61 of the heater holder 6 is partially inserted in an insertion hole 51 of the insulator 5 together with the base end portion 41 of the heater 4 while holding the heater 4 inside thereof. On the body portion 61 of the heater holder 6, a locking portion 612 which is locked to an end surface 562 of the insulator 5 while the base end side of the body portion 61 is inserted in the insertion hole 51 of the insulator 5 by predetermined length, is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
