PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and highly durable electrode which is capable of causing a specific component in a solution to generate a current output in the same manner as those of platinum and palladium.

SOLUTION: A working electrode 9 (electrode for electrochemical measurement apparatus 1) used in an electrochemical measurement apparatus 3 for measuring the concentration of a specific component in a solution is made of an alloy containing palladium and niobium, and the working electrode 9 can detect hydrogen peroxide in the solution.
