<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector capable of connecting different contacts to recesses located at one edge without short-circuiting both the surface side and the rear side of a circuit board, and to provide an electrical connector having the circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: A circuit board 1 includes: a surface 1a, a rear face 1b; and one edge 1c intersecting with the surface 1a and the rear face 1b. At this one edge 1c, recesses 2 are formed which penetrate through between the surface 1a and the rear face 1b, and a groove 4 is also formed which divides across the recesses into the surface side recesses 2a and the rear face side recesses 2b. The surface side recess 2a is provided with a surface side conductive layer 3a formed on the inner wall and the surface 1a of the circuit board 1 continued to the inner wall, and the rear side recess 2b is provided with a rear side conductive layer 3b formed on the inner wall and the rear face 1b of the circuit board 1 continued to the inner wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
