<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation controller of an internal combustion engine capable of driving an exhaust valve without causing operating noise when starting and ending EGR control, and with correct timing during the EGR control. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust valve 34 is driven while an exhaust cam lobe 42e fixed to a valve gear cam shaft 41 and an exhaust rocker arm 44e engage with each other when the EGR control is not operated, and in addition, it is driven while both a variable cam member 50 and the exhaust cam lobe 42e engage with the exhaust rocker arm 44e when the EGR control is operated. A control unit 100 engages the variable cam member 50 with the exhaust rocker arm 44e when an operation state of the internal combustion engine 10 is in an EGR operation range D of an EGR operation range map 101. When the operation state comes out of the EGR operation range D during a valve opening period T of the exhaust valve 34 by the variable cam member 50, the controller waits until the valve opening period (T) terminates and the exhaust valve 34 is fully closed, and then disengages the variable cam member 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
