<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polyvinyl acetal resin which is excellent in compatibility with an acrylic resin, gives a composite resin composition with an acrylic resin, excellent in strength, flexibility and adhesiveness; and to provide a composite resin composition produced from the modified polyvinyl acetal resin. <P>SOLUTION: The modified polyvinyl acetal resin has ethylenically unsaturated double bonds in the main chain.
