<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of treating work, by minimizing an error of the work by strongly recognizing an indication of the treating work of respective frontages for performing takeout (picking) work or performing input (sorting) work. <P>SOLUTION: This article treating device is provided for respectively picking respective articles from a plurality of frontages 2 or sorting the respective articles in the plurality of frontages.
