<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a firmware update system of a video device capable of acquiring firmware data without depending upon communication environment of an installation location and capable of acquiring firmware even from a communication terminal including no terminal having the same standard as the video device. <P>SOLUTION: This firmware update system 1 of a television apparatus (video device) is provided with a television apparatus 100 for transmitting sound, video data and a first control signal and receiving data through an HDMI terminal 101 capable of coordination between apparatuses, and a cellular phone 200 including a 3D transmitting and receiving part 201 for performing 3G network communication to acquire firmware, and an MHL terminal 203 connected to the HDMI terminal 101 through an MHL-HDMI conversion cable 300, being different from an HDMI and having compatibility to transmit at least firmware through the MHL terminal 203. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
