<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device used as an awning device, which can perform the function of the awning device. <P>SOLUTION: An opening/closing device used as an awning device 1 includes an opening/closing body 15 which can move in the vertical direction for opening/closing an opening 3. At the lower end of the opening/closing body 15, awning means 16 is provided that moves in the vertical direction along with the opening/closing body 15.
