<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate acceleration/deceleration at more appropriate timing when travel control is executed so as to follow a preceding vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A target vehicle speed is calculated based on an inter-vehicle relative value and a target inter-vehicle relative value sensed between a preceding vehicle and an own vehicle, and a target acceleration/deceleration of the own vehicle is calculated from the calculated target vehicle speed. Then, a driving device and a braking device of the own vehicle are controlled so as to set the calculated target acceleration/deceleration to a braking/driving force control amount. In this case, the braking/driving force control amount is corrected according to at least one of the control state of the own vehicle and the vehicle state of the preceding vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
