<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting device capable of suppressing unevenness in color of emitted light, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting device 10 comprises a base material 15 including a concave portion 15a on the side of an upper surface, and a semiconductor light-emitting element 11 mounted on a bottom surface of the concave portion 15a.
