<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor which is surely activated regardless of a load that acts on a rotor during the activation. <P>SOLUTION: A friction drive body 32 is formed along a circumferential direction of a rotary shaft 12. A rotor 11 is supported by the rotary shaft 12 and frictionally engaged to the friction drive body 32. The rotor 11 is rotated around a shaft center of the rotary shaft 12 by vibration of the friction drive body 32. A motive force transmission section 52 transmits a rotational force generated in the rotor 11 through the rotary shaft 12 to a member 50 to be driven. The motive force transmission section 52 has a fixed no-load interval in which the rotational force of the rotary shaft 12 is not transmitted to the member 50 to be driven, during activation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
